Welcome to Howe Avenue Elementary School!

Thank you for visiting our website. This space is designed to provide families, students, and the broader school community with easy access to important information about our programs, policies, and school events.

Howe Avenue Elementary is a vibrant and inclusive learning community where every child is valued and supported. Our dedicated teachers and staff are committed to creating a nurturing environment that fosters both academic achievement and social-emotional well-being. We believe in meeting students where they are, recognizing their unique strengths, and helping them grow into confident, capable learners.

At Howe Avenue, we are proud to serve approximately 850 students from preschool through 5th grade in the heart of Sacramento County’s Arden-Arcade community. Our school has a rich tradition of excellence, particularly in supporting English language learners and welcoming newcomer families. We also offer a variety of opportunities for students to explore their interests and talents through programs in music, drama, and sports.

We believe that every student deserves the opportunity to succeed and to envision a bright future. Whether that path leads to college, career, or another meaningful pursuit, our goal is to equip our students with the academic and life skills they need to thrive. We promote a culture of kindness, perseverance, and lifelong learning—because we know success begins with both heart and mind.
